3 Days Tsavo Expedition | Full Safari Itinerary

Day 1 | Nairobi - Tsavo West

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport and depart to Tsavo West National Park. Visit of Mzima Springs, where you can see hippos, fish and crocodiles in crystalline clear water. Then proceed to camp/lodge for check in, lunch and some rest. Later head out for the afternoon game drives with a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Day 2 | Tsavo East

Enjoy early morning game drives before breakfast then return to the camp/lodge for a full breakfast, check out and drive to Tsavo East National Park. Game drive enroute to the camp/lodge for check in, lunch and some rest. Afternoon game drives with a chance to spot herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes,Zebras, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Impalas, and different bird species. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Day 3 | Departure - Nairobi

Enjoy early morning game drives before breakfast then return to the camp/lodge for a full breakfast, check out and depart to Nairobi with a stopover for lunch on the way arriving in the early evening and drop off at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport.

  • Tips and gratuities to hotel, lodges, camp staff and driver- guide(s). Camping approx. $ 2.00 – $ 4.00 per person per day for lodge and hotel staff, $ 1.00 per bag for porters and $ 5.00 - $ 10.00 per person per day for driver-guides. For hotels/lodges/tented camps, please do not tip individual staff members, but instead use the ‘Tip Box’, which you should find at the reception of your accommodation.

  • If you are not keen on driving safari, you can opt for a flying option so that you can minimize on driving time (extra cost)
  • This safari tour is private for your party and in own safari van and dedicated tour driver/ guide- (for both road travel & game viewing drives)
  • You are free to choose your specific camp/lodge in Camping, Budget, Midrange, luxury accommodation options provided - (this is subject to availability). We may have to reroute the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability.
  • This amazing Kenya safari can also include a hot air balloon safari in Masai Mara (extra cost).
