You will be picked up from your hotel or airport and depart with a scenic drive across the Equator via the central Kenya highlands to the dramatic semi-arid scrubland of the Northern Frontier comprising of Buffalo Springs, Shaba and Samburu game reserves. Arrive in time lunch and some rest. Later you will depart for afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Today, the full day is dedicated enjoying the unique beauty of the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives along the banks of Ewaso Nyiro River. It is the home to the unique rare species only found north of equator that include the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebras, Beisa oryxes, giraffe necked gazelle (gerenuk), and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich and it is also home to the big five, Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Endangered Wild Dog and others. After exploring the park visit the Samburu village. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Rise early for breakfast and do enroute morning game drives as you leave heading south to the Aberdare National Park. You will arrive at your base hotel for check-in followed by lunch and transfer to your tree lodge. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. The tree hotels have viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. Game is attracted by the waterholes and salt licks around the lodge. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

NB: - Only overnight bags are allowed at the tree hotel

After early morning breakfast proceed for a game drive in the Aberdare National Park. Later leave with a stopover for lunch on the main highway arriving late afternoon and dropped off at your hotel or at the airport.
